INGREDIENTS
12 large chicken wings cut in half at the joint (remove wing tips if still attached).
Season and cover chicken with garlic powder, season salt, onion powder, black pepper,
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon chili-paste sauce
2 green onions, sliced thin
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine chicken with all ingredients except green onions.
2. Pre heat oven at 400 degrees so that oven is heated and ready for final step of broil and browning chicken.
3. Place olive oil in a wok or frying skillet enough to cover skillet and a bit more extra to pan fry the chicken.
4. DO NOT POUR LEFT OVER JUICE FROM MIXTURE IN OIL when placing chicken in wok or frying skillet on high to medium-high heat. Cover wok and cook, 12-14 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes or until chicken starts becoming brown.
5. Place chicken in glass baking Petri dish for baking. PRE-Heat oven on Broil. Wait until oven is hot. Place stir fried chicken in oven on BROIL for 3 mins. Until browned through.
6. To Serve: Place wings in a bowl and top with sliced green onion.
